Brain Injury Awareness Month 2026

Mar 1, 2026

A Message to Families from the RSiCC Study Team

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, a national observance that supports individuals and families affected by brain injury, including concussion. Each year, organizations across the country work to raise awareness, share information, and highlight the strength and resilience of those recovering from brain injuries.

As participants in the Risk Stratification in Children with Concussion (RSiCC) study, you are helping researchers learn more about how children recover from concussion. We appreciate the time and effort you have contributed. Huge thanks for sticking with us! Your participation isn't just data - it’s helping us change the future for concussion recovery. We truly appreciate the commitment you and your family have shown

Concussions affect one in five children by age 16, and recovery looks different for each person. Research like the RSiCC Study helps us understand why these differences occur so that care can be more personalized and effective.

Thank you again for helping us advance concussion research and improve future care for kids!

If you have questions about the study or your upcoming visits, please reach out anytime.
